Alright, I have legitimately made a decision. Since this is apparently the year I make resolutions and stick to them I'm making another resolution.
I am actually going to finish writing The Cauldron of Rebirth/Flesh and Ash during NaNo this year. I've been plotting it and making outlines and characterization profiles and researching for years now and it's just time for it to be fucking DONE.
I figure I still have about 30k words to write of my Grey's Anatomy Big Bang and my Horror Big Bang based on where I am in those stories and what still needs to be written so there's a worry I might burn out there. The Horror Big Bang only needs to be 10k words, I believe but I think it's going to end up significantly more than that because I'm halfway there and I've only written a few scenes. Somehow I feel that I need 15k words to even get to the point where I could legitimately have Alicia and Kalinda have sex without it being completely out of character. And they're fighting zombies so I have no idea why I'm worried about correct characterization in such a way anyway. And, as you guys know that I FUCKING HATE CARY WITH THE FIRE OF A THOUSAND SUNS, I'm a little miffed that I think I might actually need to write him for a bit before he gets torn to shreds by a zombie. I'm actually even considering having him and Kalinda have sex. What even is that. I think it might also include Alicia/Peter sex and Alicia/Will sex. So basically zombies have 'aliens made them do it' powers.
Compared to my Grey's Anatomy story where I feel like I've written dozens and dozens of scenes (because I have) and I'm still short on words. I'm having a bit of a love/hate thing with that story though because I love the story, despite my complete lack of medical knowledge, but I can't bring myself to go back and watch some Grey's episodes because it legitimately makes my teeth itch now. But I might do that tomorrow because I want to get Alex and Arizona's mannerisms correct.
